Reflection: I really enjoyed this assignment. In class, I heard people complaining that the publishing website was hard to use and glitchy. However, I did not have very much trouble with the site. I might have just not noticed it because I started to work on it rather early on. However, in my mind, the site was easy to use and offered some decent features. I would love to use an assignment like this in my class. I picture using it with my fifth graders as a narrative assignment. Instead of having them fracture a fairytale they could fracture their reading group books. I think this would be a really interesting assignment for my students and a good way to see how much they comprehend from their stories. My favorite part of this assignment was getting to create a book. I loved getting to take photos for it and am so excited to see the final product.
